    Acetone?

    I have never purchased rubbing alcohol that smelled liked straight up nail polish remover. I am concerned that this is mainly acetone as opposed to rubbing alcohol. Very strange…

    Always good service.

    I get my over the counter items and vitamins from CVS at a good price.I also like getting back money on my purchases. I have been shopping here for many years.

    Definitely NOT Rubbing Alcohol

    I started using this product to wipe off a scrape on my skin and immediately noticed the strong smell of acetone. It smells just like nail polish remover. To be sure the smell wasn't off, I dabbed a little bit on a cotton ball to rub and disinfect my toilet seat. It stripped the coating off of my toilet seat. I do not think this product is safe, especially on skin. I've used rubbing alcohol all of my life and this is mainly acetone. It says the acetone is an "inactive" ingredient, but I highly doubt that since it stripped my toilet seat sealant. Alcohol would not have done that.
