    Locked up tight

    Stubborn battery compartment with miniscule screw which even jewelers tools won't open, kept me from turning the battery to on position. 3 people have tried and failed. No power, no way to use the scale.

    Scale works but is hard to read

    The scale looks pretty good, but the black frame beneath the glass is, well, very black and a lot more obvious than I thought it would be. It was impossible to open the battery compartment to slide out the insulator. It required a miniscule Phillips-head screwdriver (like for eyeglasses) to avoid stripping the screw. I was fortunate to see a tip of the protective insulator, pull it out and get the scale to work. As far as I know, it weighs correctly. BUT the biggest drawback for me, is that the digital read out is NOT illuminated. You have to get it in just the right light to see the numbers. Sadly - that's more hassle than I'm willing to deal with, so I'm returning it

    Small scale which didn’t work at all

    I don’t recommend buying this scale spend more and get a better one it’s very small didn’t work for me also
