Does not provide a consistent reading.
The results/readings are not consistent. I take my temp with he probe on the left side of my tongue, underneath and with my teeth clamped and do the same with the proble on the right side and the reading is not the same .. not even close. Variable acuracy and does not beep.
The thermometer registers the temperature in just a few seconds, but it is not consistent. I took three readings in a short period of time and the result was different every time. They are not far apart so I guess it's okay if you're trying to get a general range for a temperature reading, but it is not consistent. Inaccurate. Reads lower than actual temperature.
Bought this earlier this week while I was on my lunch break because I wasn't feeling well, temp read 97.5, I chocked it up to low blood sugar because I hadn't eaten yet. A few days later I'm not feeling well still and I check my temp… again 97 something.
