The reason I chose 3 stars was for a couple reasons. The packaging to start is great, very slim and effective. The downfall is the smell. The scent is very chemically and rubber smelling. White and unusable!
Although this sunscreen is significantly cheaper than the sunscreen it seems to want to emulate, the La Roche-Posay Mineral Fluid Sunscreen, this sunscreen is not worth it in my opinion. If used in a generous amount (a little does not go a long way with sunscreens!), it leaves an intense white cast, even on my pale skin. It doesn't feel like it ever fully sets down either, having a wet feel on the face throughout the day. Plus it has a very industrial, plasticky smell to it, although I've had the same experience with other fragrance free mineral sunscreens. The finish is somewhat shiny as well, not matte as the box claims. Two starts instead of one since it is a higher SPF and is also water resistant, doesn't sting my eyes, and is fragrance free, but besides that this sunscreen is too unpleasant to use for daily wear. Light, and not sticky
I used this for the first time at the beach this season. It was easy to apply, didn't feel sticky, and I didn't have any allergic reactions. I like how light it was on my skin. It didn't melt off in the heat like some other sunscreens. It’s a great sunscreen to use.
I really liked this sunscreen because it felt super light weight and didn't leave a white cast on my face. The packaging was different from other sunscreens I've used but I liked it. Good value sunscreen
The sunscreen sits very light on your face. It is unscented which I prefer. It does leave a bit of a white cast which I don't love - but many other similar sunscreens do. Protects well. Recommend for summer days!
I would recommend this sunscreen! My face is rather sensitive and acne prone and this does not irritate me at all! A little goes a long way with this value and even though it is a mineral sunscreen it will not leave a white cast if properly rubbed in. No scent which I prefer. My Sensitive Skin Approved This Mineral SPF!
I've been using the CVS Health Mineral SPF 50 Light Fluid Lotion and I'm genuinely impressed! I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, and this sunscreen has been amazing-no irritation, no breakouts. It's a mineral sunscreen, which I love, and it goes on super smooth with no white cast at all. The formula is fragrance-free, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly with a nice matte finish, making it perfect under makeup or on its own. I also really appreciate that it's paraben- and phthalate-free. I feel well-protected, and it's water-resistant for light outdoor activities.
