I only use salon brand hair care, but tried this based on all the positive reviews...this blows EVERYTHING I've ever used out of the water. I have double processed hair, curly, frizzy, breakage and this made my hair look SO good. BUT I unfortunately won't be using it. I hate the fragrance. It's so unpleasant and strong it gives me a migraine. People generally do not enjoy overly fragrant hair products especially being so close to their face. I tried to convince the other people in my house to try it due to how well it works thinking the fragrance issue was just a me thing, but they won't touch it cause the scent. My daughter sneezed and coughed after smelling it and said "Ew no way" my husband asked me what I was wearing and told me it makes his head spin and asked me if I could move my head from his arm :( Gone are the days of the gentle clean scent of Dove, back when my mom used it. I unfortunately had to wash the lovely results away in hopes my migraine would go away. It took 2 washes of a clarifying shampoo and I can still smell it. EXCELLENT DUO
Just started using this shampoo and conditioner and have been pleased with the results. Clean shiney hair an moist scalp. I'm just finishing up my first s&c and have no complaints. Will continue to use these 2 Dove products.All personal hygiene products are Dove...s&c, hair spray, deodrant, body spray, and body wash. Horrible hives glutamate is awful
Horrible allergic reaction. My scalp broke out almost immediately after washing my hair. My scalp had a burning red rash and hives. I immediately rewashed my hair but I've been suffering with itchy scalp and hives all day . Getting rid of all my other conditoners!!!
This conditioner was recommended by Abbey Yung on her YouTube channel, so I took a chance and bought it. I had not used a drugstore conditioner for at least 10 years. I have fine, thin, color treated hair - with limp roots and very dry ends. I had a terrible experience with a 2-part bonding product that was used at the salon, so I avoided any products that claimed to bond or repair for about the last 4 years. The positives: this Intense Repair conditioner has dramatically transformed the health of my hair over the past month - today I am literally getting rid of every other conditioner in my bathroom closet (just counted - 12 bottles of different high-end conditioners/masks that did not perform as well as this conditioner!). My hair dresser even noticed how much healthier my hair is now. The negative: I don't like the fragrance because it reminds me of hotel soap, just not very lux or spa-like after years of using high-end conditioners with lovely fragrances. ***DOVE please DO NOT discontinue or reformulate this product!!! It is incredibly frustrating when brands either discontinue or "improve" formulations that their customers love. Hair smells amazing and feels great
Well, I'm very surprised at how good this shampoo and conditioner are. I've been using pureology, wells and other brands and this has been better than those, my hair feel so soft and it smells amazing.0 users found this review helpful.
