We just got this as a gift for Christmas and there is a manufacturers defect that doesn't allow the contacts on the batteries to contact properly. So it turns on and off when banged around by a baby. We thought the batteries were dying, but when we changed them, we noticed how the batteries would connect and disconnect causing the interruption in the sounds.Reply from shop.mattel.comHace 8 mesesSorry to hear this! So cute and sweet

Laugh and learn block

It kept my 10 month old entertained for a good 30 minutes and that's saying a lot for my on the go baby! It sings and talks playing different little number and shape songs evens sings the ABC song! They can also be entertained by twisting the block around we loved the clicking noises it made. Fun and Interactive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 4 by 4 Rubik's cube like toy has two interactive buttons on the top, speaker is on the top, top/bottom twist action function, and the top also has a red light and looks like a button but has no other function (would be nice if the light was a functional button). Built and material is solid. The speaker is a good volume but no way to control the volume. If you want a toy to keep your kid entertained for a long period of time, this is not the right one for that. BUT this is the toy if you need you kid entertained for like 15 minutes...maybe 30 minutes max. Rubik’s cubes for babies

I will you could lower the volume. Cute toy that provides entertainment for little one. Kids love it; a little disappointing as an adult
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very fun! My kids showed interest in puzzle cubes so got this so they could have their own. As an adult, it's a little disappointing but my toddlers love it. It's smaller the expected, with each of the squares being about 1 1/4". It also is only able to be turned around the middle, which makes a cranking noise but does not produce any lights or sounds which is a little disappointing as an adult. There are also only two buttons on top; the other two squares are a speaker and the section that lights up. I wish the buttons lit up instead leaving room for a third button for the shapes. My last negative is that the button is just black with a compartment for the batteries. My kids love it though. It has buttons, lights, and sounds; all things kids love. They love being able to twist it and of course, pressing the buttons. And the smaller size makes it easier for them to hold it and carry it around. Interactive and better suited for two year olds.

He spent a lot of time pushing the buttons and spinning the cube.
