I should've read the reviews first, and that's on me. But this is not purple or violet. This is straight up maroon at best. It's like a pinky red color. Not the same color

Love the brand. Just sad with the color.
I usually go for this brand for my reds and black needs as it always comes out vibrant and leaves my hair not only soft but smelling good! I was so excited to try this as my hair had grown out enough to bleach the roots out and do a pretty violet to black. Very upset as the color came out so red. Not anything close to the color displayed and I left it on a little over 40 min hoping it would change lol. The color after mixing was the first sign as it's a pinkish color. Feedback on New Hair Color Formula
Dear Garnier Team, I have been a loyal customer of your hair color products for quite some time and have always been impressed with the previous formula, particularly the version that came in packaging with green sides and a different image. Unfortunately, I've noticed significant changes with the new formula, and I wanted to share my concerns. The new version does not perform as well-it washes out within 3 to 5 days and leaves noticeable stains on my pillowcase, which was never an issue with the previous product. I'm not sure what changes were made, but the quality is no longer the same. I would greatly appreciate any information on whether older batches of the previous formula are still available, as I would be interested in purchasing them in bulk. Your previous formula was a staple in my routine, and I'm disappointed that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find a comparable product. Nothing like it!
