It's exactly the kind of clip that I need. I have super long, thick and course hair and putting it in a ponytail is just too heavy so I always have a clip handy. Clips with plastic teeth always break so this metal one is perfect! Only wish it was round
Picked up this clip at a local beauty supply store because it's metal not plastic. Seems well made; I was impressed right away with how sturdy the whole piece feels, especially the hinge and pin joint ... this is the part that breaks after a few uses with most plastic clips. It opens and closes smoothly, yet the spring is strong enough to hold my thick heavy hair. The finish coating is nice and seems like it's not going to wear off right away. The hematite color is beautiful, didn't see the gold in the store. Seems like the color finish is going to last. Would LOVE to see silver, bronze, copper, maybe rose gold color options too! So, I looked up this manufacturer's website to see if the clip is available in other options than what that store carries. Sadly I didn't see what I was looking for :( I would LOVE it if it was available in round (or "octopus" shape) of no smaller diameter than this straight clip! I was prepared to buy them in every color if round was an option! This is my first clip from Kitsch and I think I'd get addicted if there were more designs! p.s. as a demographic side note ... Hold my silky hair very well.

Good quality
I have fairly long, thick, curly hair so going to sleep on it wet is not okay. This scrunchy holds it all up on top of my head comfortably. My hair is still damp in the morning but it's just enough to make styling it a breeze.
