I'm trying to understand why Light Ash Brown turned my gray and light brown hair red. Not worth it!

Does NOT cover gray
I bought this for my roommate who is getting a little bit of gray in some areas. Even though I have had success with other colors, this black did NOT cover the gray. Not good
Very disappointed. Did nothing to cover any of my gray hair. Says 100% coverage but it barely lightened my hair and all the grays were very much there. My hair looks great!
First time using this product. I liked it! Easy to mix, easy to apply. I was worried I wouldn’t have enough with my long hair but there was plenty. I like the shampoo & conditioner included. Best of all, my hair looks great! Shiny, smooth, perfect coverage especially of my grey, and variations in how the color picked up makes it look very natural!
