My 2-year-old daughter picked this set out as a birthday present for me. We built it together and she had a blast playing with the final product. It has a lot of play factor. But for me, the value in this set is the number of alternative builds you can make with this set. In addition to the T-Rex, Triceratops, and Pterodactyl; I have also built a brontosaurus and an ankylosaurus. I loved this set it was really fun and challenging. I love in Lego creator that these sets can change into three different things and this set was no exception. the t-rex is great but its hard to get its legs to stand right but besides that it was AWSOME!!!!!!!! the flying dino was cool to and so was the triceratops. GREAT JOB LEGO!!!!!!! this set is incredible it is a must have. great value for the money too. Gets played with more than any other set
My boys have toy dinosaurs, and toy lego. This is the best of both worlds. We actually have duplicates of this set, and so the boys can make multiple dinosaurs at a time. Their current favourite is the 4th Brontosaurus for which they received instructions online. The toys are robust and easy to play with, and if they do come apart slightly then they easily reassemble without having to reference the instructions. I had to help them build it the first time, as they are very young, but now they build various dinosaurs on their own. Fun build but no replacement parts
The build was great and my daughter loved it. Being a kid of course she played with it and inevitably lost some pieces. I was quite upset that I am unable to find a majority of those pieces in the pick a brick section. So the problem I have with this set, and many of the more recent lego sets, is the number of specialty pieces. Bigger than I thought!
I was very excited for this set because it said it had three dinosaurs in one set for a very reasonable price! There's actually four dinosaurs in the set, a bonus Brachiosaurus that I will leave to others to explain how to get the instructions. I was very surprised by the quality of this set. I had expected this to be smaller than what I have now because of the small size of the box. I was delighted of seeing that it was actually pretty big, which is always better. I was also surprised by the durability of this set, it was way more durable than I had imagined. The jaws do not fall apart easily, it was actually pretty easy to make it stand on its feet without it falling. The foot claw pieces are very sharp, so I always am careful when handling the set. It was very posable, even my sister made it so that the Tyrannosaur's head was upside down and curving up, while the tail was curved all the way, almost touching the back! It was a fun set to build, and a fun set to play with. The building instructions were fun, with the T. Rex looking like a giant lizard, with its feet sprawled. Then we curved the legs into the natural position, and it was almost done. Then, put the head and neck in, and it's done. It was short, but fun, and basically all my lego sets have five stars. No lego sets are bad. All of them are very durable and have good quality. Very good set. Looks Amazing
I love this set because it looks amazing and the colour scheme is brilliant. I love the colour scheme. Also, it looks exactly like a dinosaur. I love how the teeth are done and how the mouth opens up realistically. I also love the unbelievable amount of articulation they used in creating this model. It is really hard to make it stand up though, because the head, body and the tail are heavier than the legs and feet, causing it to fall over occasionally, but when posed on display, it looks amazing. another dino!
i love it when lego comes out with another dinosaur set! the thing is, i love the trex, triceratops, and the pterodactyl, but what i rally like is the secret rebuild into the brachiosaurus! you can find it at lego.com creator and go to the products then go to the mighty dinosaurs set, click it, then you can go to the building instructions! hope you like the brachiosaurus!0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on LEGO
