Great for low-porosity hair, firm hold and smells great
I have low-porosity, fine hair, but a *lot* of it, and mainly 2b-2c curls. I've been using the CG method for about 6 months. I grabbed this mousse at random off the shelf as the ingredients were CG-friendly, and boy am I happy I did. It claims to "add shine" but I don't find it does that too much to my hair, as my hair tends to look oily/greasy with most products that "add shine". To nitpick, it gives it a nice healthy sheen more so than a shine. The hold is very firm; my hair is insane sometimes and this stuff tames it down very well. I use it on day 2 and 3 sometimes to manage frizz, but I find the 7-in-1 foam from the same line is better for that. This mousse doesn't weigh your hair down but by day 3 (or 4, though I rarely go that long without at least a co-wash) it does start to build up and make my hair feel a touch gunky. I use a fair bit of this stuff and I'd highly recommend a good clarifying/stripping shampoo if you're going to use this and/or the 7-in-1 foam. I have one that I use 2-3x a month. It also smells like a lemon meringue pie, and who wouldn't want to smell like a lemon meringue pie??? As a guy I'm not hung up on "girly smells" but I find most floral or fruit-scented stuff is overwhelming. This stuff smells awesome though! In the end though, I'm very happy with this mousse. It and the 7-in-1 foam seem to work really well for my hair type. The best for my waves!
This is my absolute favourite product! I have waves, not curls, and they get weighed down VERY easily. I've tried everything, gels, creams, mousse, foams, and this one is my one and only favourite!! I'm on my 3rd bottle and will continue to get it again and again. It doesn't leave my hair flat, crunchy, or sticky, just natural beachy waves! For my waves: shampoo ONLY (no conditioner whatsoever) and scrunch this foam into super wet hair, then plop and air dry. I first apply some light curl cream (Marc Anthony Strictly Curls 3X Moisture 3-in-1 Styling Cream) and hair oil and then scrunch this into my curls. It has great hold without being sticky. My curls are light, bouncy and defined and have never looked so good! So glad to finally find affordable curl products!1 users found this review helpful.

It makes my hair very curly and takes away my frizz all while being soft instead of crunchy. It also smells so good so that is a bonus.
