I used this product to quell a sore throat. When I sprayed it some got on my tongue. My tongue hurt a lot for a while. This was a couple of months ago. Since the I have have lost most of my sense of taste. I have tried a number of ways to see if the sense of taste has returned but it has not. I tried different flavors of Jelly beans and can't discern what flavor any of them. I have added horse radish to food to get some taste but the only sensation I get is some tingling at the back of my throat. Works, but burns (bad)...
I've use similar products but I saw Benzocaine and I thought that would be a stronger numbing medicine. It did numb the area, but it really burned bad for about 10 minutes. Possibly my throat irritation is more severe than the intended use? Numbing great, burns like hell
I have had a severe sore throat for some time due to a cough. When using the product it burnt my throat and irritated anything it touched before actually numbing it. It took a while before kicking in as well but once it numbed it worked great. 0-10 do not recommend
I have strep throat, bought this looking for relief. The cooling sensation did more than "cool" it actually burned my throat. It irritated my throat more than before using it. Numbs your throat
This work really well to numb my throat. At night I can a persistent cough/itch in the back of my throat/need to clear my throat. This numbs it and no need to cough to relieve the itch feeling.
