Great brush but needed more info
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this toothbrush was fantastic. My child (7) said she liked it much more than her previous toothbrush. It gave a great cleaning, and she said her teeth even felt cleaner. We also had a dentist appointment after we got the brush, and the dentist said her teeth and gums looked great. It's compact and lightweight, and she brushes her teeth for the appropriate amount of time thanks to the beeps that tell you when it's time to move to a new area in her mouth. My only critique is that the brush came without a mount, charger, or directions. I received this toothbrush as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, so maybe this was a demo version? And I'm not sure if it's battery operated and that's why it didn't come with a charger? But if so, I could not figure out how to open the brush up to put in a new battery. There was a lot of confusion. The charge has held up well for now, and it's been a couple of weeks, but I'm not sure what to do when it loses the charge. Do we have to just throw it away and get a new one? If those aspects are sorted out, then it would be a 5-star review because it is a wonderful child's toothbrush.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Quip - Sí, recomiendoMandyNCReviewed 7 months ago
Sensory friendly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4yr old is non-verbal, developmentally delayed, with sensory issues-- especially when it comes to his teeth. He developed severe tooth decay at 2 yrs old and his 4 top front teeth are crowned. Even before that he hated having his teeth brushed and would never sit still, it's only become worse over the last couple years. We've only been using this toothbrush for a couple weeks but holy cow! Before I was chasing him around and having to hold him still to get even 30 secs of decent brushing done. We've tried other electric brushes and he hated them. The first time I pulled this brush out the kid friendly design intrigued him so he sat still for the first time in months while I helped him brush his teeth and it was incredible! He lasted the entire 2 minutes! He is no longer running from me when it's time to brush his teeth, he sits calmly the entire time. He even wants to hold it himself sometimes. Honestly we've had such a hard time finding something that works for him and this toothbrush is definitely a keeper. There's a little pause every 30 secs just like an adult brush. He can't tell me how it feels but his actions speak louder than any words, given his history with brushing his teeth. I am floored every day by how much easier it has become. I completely recommend this toothbrush to anyone looking for a good brush for their kids, especially kids with sensory issues! As a little bonus it has a little holder that sticks to the mirror (or other smooth surfaces, like tile) so I don't have to worry about it getting knocked around on our tiny vanity. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing this product in exchange for my honest review.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Quip - NatiReviewed 7 months ago
Quip toothbrush for kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with this toothbrush to review! I loved the look of it, and it fit really well into my 8 year old's hand. However, when I asked her what she thought, she said she would have preferred something more "fun and colorful". I do really appreciate that it comes with a stand. Plus the stand also has a case that screws right into it which makes it easily portable. The vibrating effect is ok, but I think I'll be getting her a brush that oscillates because I feel that those clean better. It's pretty cool that it comes with a timer that lets your kid know when to switch sides (it vibrates extra hard every 30 seconds). Unfortunately, my kid is impatient, as kids are, and didn't always complete the full 2 minutes. But she still got a good clean, I'll take what I can get! In summary, the design of the stand/case and the timer are the best features of this toothbrush. Improvements could be made on the method of cleaning, as the vibration is very light so she would just manually brush. Also, a more fun looking toothbrush would appeal more to kids.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Quip - Sí, recomiendoSLPMomReviewed 7 months ago
Great toothbrush for kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the quip Kids Sonic Battery Toothbrush through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Design: The quip Kid's toothbrush arrived nicely packaged and easy for my 8 year old daughter to unpack herself. We both like that the travel tube doubles as a stand for the toothbrush and keeps it upright. The toothbrush diameter itself is too wide to fit into most toothbrush holders otherwise. My daughter would have preferred a color other than yellow, but the silicone wrap is easy to hold and not slippery in wet little hands. As advertised, the brush head is small enough for little mouths and easy to maneuver. Use: my daughter shared that the battery-powered toothbrush was not as powerful as she expected/had experienced with other electric toothbrushes. The quip toothbrush does work to clean teeth better than a manual toothbrush, and the timer is helpful for knowing how long to brush and when to move to a new quadrant. The low speed is most likely also due to the vibrations that are meant to be sensitive on young gums and teeth. Power: we have used the toothbrush for over a week without issue. The single AAA battery is reported to last up to 3 months, so we will update if it does not hold to that standard. Overall, this is a great brush for little hands and mouths, with plenty of power that's gentle on growing gums.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Quip - IdahoReviewerReviewed 7 months ago
Cute and Compact Toothbrush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quip Kids Sonic Battery Toothbrush is very cute. It's incredibly compact and fits easily into my 8 year olds hand. I really liked how it would buzz after 30 seconds to do a different area of the mouth, helping to keep my daughter focused and know how long they should be focusing in on an area. I wish a charger would've been included. I also wish it oscillated a bit more because I didn't feel like it was cleaning her teeth as well as it could have. Thank you so much to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this toothbrush.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Quip - Sí, recomiendoCleanteethReviewed 7 months ago
Love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the toothbrush's minimalist design and thought it would look nice on my bathroom countertop. However, since it's meant for kids, I also asked my daughter for her opinion. She mentioned that it could be more kid-friendly, maybe with brighter colors or a more playful design. As for how it helped her stay engaged during the 2-minute brushing routine, the vibrations were new for her-she'd never used a vibrating toothbrush before, so the novelty kept her interested. The vibrations also helped her know when to stop brushing. She said they felt "relaxing" on her teeth. She enjoys using this electric toothbrush because it's similar to mine, and the minimalist design isn't bulky. She also likes the mirror holder that sticks on, and the vibrations make it easier to time her brushing. I'd definitely recommend this to any friend looking for a child-friendly electric toothbrush. Perfect for little hands and teeth
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to Stellar Product Testing for allowing me to test this product. The first thing that had me already loving this product out of the packaging is how sleek it feels. My son used to use a different brand and it was big and clunky. This kids Quip toothbrush is the perfect size for little hands! The prompts to switch to a different side of the mouth is great for kids to help make sure that they brush all those teeth! And it keeps them engaged. My son also said the bristles were soft on his gums and he liked the tongue cleaner on the back of the brush. I do wish it was rechargeable though. Overall I would definitely recommend this product!0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Quip - Sí, recomiendoMamaDReviewed 7 months ago
Great toothbrush
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel which surprisingly made my 5 year old very excited to get a new toothbrush. This toothbrush was perfect for his little hands and simple for him to use on his own. My favorite part is that it doesn't clutter up my already too small bathroom sink and I was able to stick the toothbrush holder on the wall where my son was able to reach it. If I'm being honest that part alone made me want to buy them for my whole family and save even more space. It's truly waterproof and doesn't build up yucky gunk that his old toothbrush did. The timer helped my son remain accountable for brushing for the full 2 minutes and saved me from figuring it out. Definitely would recommend this toothbrush for little ones.. and even adults.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Quip
