I love these sponges, they work great on stainless steel pots, dishes, and glasses. The only issue is size, I find they are too large for my hand. They are somewhat flexible but it's just easier when they're small. So I sew two seams down the middle and cut in half. Quality issue!
The Dobie pads used to be very good and we used them for years. But for last couple of years, the quality of them is not the same. I stoped buying them. Since the reviews are still good (?), I give them one more chance. I bought Scotch Brite Scrub &Wipe Cloths . Unfortunately, when I opened the box, one of the two pads was already torn on a side. Just wonder, is there quality control procedure at the manufacturing place of this product? Sparkling kitchen
Use it daily in the kitchen. Squirt a little dish detergent on Dobie Scrub then add a small amount of instant hot water from dispenser, now ready to wash pans, sharp knives, odd dishware that I don't put in dishwasher. These scrub pads are THE BEST!
I've been using the Scotch-Brite Dobie scrub & wipe cloths for years. Suddenly I can't find them in grocery stores in Rochester, NY. Now I ordered them online. I love this sponge!
The scrub and wipe is the perfect thickness for household cleaning. It wrings out easily and therefore dries quickly, which keeps it fresh. The thin design also allows cleaning in tight places. I agree with others who've pleaded that this product not be discontinued! Best Sponge EVER! Don't discontinue!!
I bought these a few times and loved them more than any other sponge out there. The scrub side is nylon netting and is easy to clean, unlike other scrubbers out there. They are thin enough that they dry quickly and never get the 'sponge stank', that I hate. I have to say, they are very hard to find and online retailer reviews say the same thing. Please do not discontinue them.
