    Works on Sisterlocks!

    I have been using a moisture shampoo for 2 years and decided to switch up my approach in caring for my locs as I have been more active these days. I have always had a love for tea tree oil given its many purposes. I decided to try this to clarify my locs as well as moisturize and it did not disappoint. I purchased both shampoo and conditioner ( washed locs 3 times) and conditioned for 30 minutes. The conditioner surprised me because its so lightweight and total opposite of what I have been using but it worked perfectly. It is day 3 and my locs smell amazing and are soft and bouncy. I added no additional oils to my hair...just got under the hooded dryer followed with my satin bonnet. I did purchase the single pack masque and will use that soon but right now its totally not needed. I had no irritation or any sensitivity using this product. Thanks Soapbox for creating a product that makes my crown happy. *I was not asked to leave a review nor was I compensated. Just a regular girl leaving an honest review.

    Definitely NOT Sulfate Free

    Although you may not find "sulfate" listed on the bottle, it does contain sulfonates. These are the same as sulfates and are just as harsh on treated hair. And while I love the product, it is false to advertise as sulfate free as long as it still contains sulfonates. Buyer beware.

    Not it

    I have dread locs,it made my hair smell very good. But it left my scalp very dry and flaky. I won't try again.

    The smell is great!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the one with tea tree oil in it and it was very pleasant to smell. It lathered well and didn't require an excessive amount to cover my head of hair. My hair didn't feel as clean after showers where I used this, but it could just be that I'm too used to brands that take out too much of my natural oils. I'm not sure!

    Clean

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo unfortunately dried the living begeezies out of my hair. I'm all for natural shampoos and understand they don't have all the same properties as chemical packed options, but this one was too hard to get past!

    Great stuff

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the product. Just wasn't suited for my hair type. Lovely smell just made my hair a little dry feeling. Could have been the type I bought wasn't right.
