Overall, I was impressed with the T is for Taming Taming Shampoo. I have a 3-year-old daughter with long, wild, fine, curly hair, so I was excited to get to test this product out as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It makes her tangle-prone hair feel so soft and manageable. I always brush her hair while she is in the bath tub so I don't disturb her natural curl pattern while her hair is drying, and I was able to brush her hair with the shampoo in with relatively few complaints (which is always a relief and typically requires a value sized amount of conditioner). Once her hair dried it felt soft and her curls were nicely defined! The shampoo has a very nice lather (which surprised me for a sulfate free shampoo), and the fragrance is a very pleasant and subtle vanilla/coconut which I really enjoyed. I also love that this product is made in the USA! While my favorite thing about this product is the impressive detangling, I will probably still use it with conditioner on particularly tangly days. My daughter is incredibly tender-headed, so I think she will still need conditioner or detangler if we have been out in the wind all day. For most days I will happily use it as an all-in-one product. Great product!
I used this for both my daughters. One had thick, curly, frizzy, knot-prone hair. The other has thin, curly hair. While this worked well for my youngest, it was AMAZING for my oldest. I didn't even have to use detangler in her hair. Also, the smell is heavenly! I highly recommend this product. Smells nice, works decently
My daughter has very long hair and we always have to use copious amounts of detangler to het through it after a shower. Needless to say, I was looking forward to trying this new T is for Taming shampoo in the hopes it would make dealing with her hair easier. We both really liked the coconut scent of the shampoo and it lathered up really nicely without working at it too much. After washing, it did help somewhat with her normal tangles but not as effectively as using her normal detangling spray. On the plus side, the shampoo does cut down on a step in her hair routine but it will probably work best with kids whose hair isn't as long or fine as my daughter's hair is. All in all, we'll happily keep using it but may not get any more in the future. Smells wonderful, leaves hair soft and smooth
My daughter has fine wavy hair that tangles easily. We received the T is for taming shampoo from Stellar Product Testing Panel to test and review because of her hair type. I have used this shampoo on her multiple times and love it. It smells delicious and leaves her hair soft and smooth. I didn't even need de tangling spray to brush her hair after using it. I did try it for myself since it smelled so good. I did not get a great lather or suds for my own hair. I'm not sure why. Soft and Gentle
I received T is for Taming Shampoo free from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try in exchange for my opinion. I have two sons with long hair; one has thick, straight shoulder-length and the other has silky curls that are mid-back length. This shampoo worked GREAT for both of them! It lathers up well (my boys both loved all the bubbles) and it smells nice, without being an overbearing scent. For my son with fine hair, we didn't even need to use conditioner afterward as this shampoo detangled as well! It thoroughly cleaned both boys' hair (although I did need conditioner for my older son because of how thick his hair is). Great Shampoo
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this kid's hair care product. It was a new, positive experience for us with our almost 4-year-old curly-haired girl. We've always used the same 2-in-1 shampoo/body wash for our daughter, and this was a good first experience deviating from our norm. The shampoo has a nice gentle smell and lathered into the hair really nicely. I was able to comb my fingers through my daughter's hair after lathering the product through it for a little while, so it detangled the hair nicely. Usually, I need conditioner in the hair before being able to do this. Her hair was easy to comb through after bath and her curls had a nice bounce to them once dried. I appreciate that it eliminates the need to use a separate conditioner and still results in easy to comb hair with soft, bouncy curls. This is definitely a product I will continue to use and purchase on my own once I'm in need of a new bottle! Detangles without the need of hair conditioner!
Lately I've been learning of harmful ingredients and it's hard to find a shampoo for my kids that it's not full of sulfates and laureates. I don't mind a bit of fragrance as long as it's subtle. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I got the opportunity to learn about this kids shampoo and was able to test it on my kids' hair when they provided it to me to test it. If you're wondering, like I was, let me tell you that yes, this shampoo does lather! It lathers very richly and leaves my kids hair softer and more moisturized than other brands we have tried. A little amount of the product on the hand yields really good and lathers just the way I like it. It didn't irritated their eyes at all, it smells amazingly subtle and pleasant without overpowering. The consistency is not runny but similar to a thick hand soap and it doesn't have any dyes at all. I already mentioned the subtle scent which is one of my favorite things about it. I even tried the shampoo for myself and didn't need to use conditioner. I love how my hair feels, the sheen it now has, and it's not dry or dull anymore. I think I need this for me too and now I'm planning to share the bottle with the whole family. One particular thing I noticed was that my kids hair texture didn't change but it changed mine. My hair is a bit wavy and after using T is for Tame shampoo my hair got significantly wavier than before. All in all it does work on fine long hair and it makes it easy to detangle without using conditioner. Great, gentle shampoo for toddlers!
This all-in-one shampoo was great for my daughter's hair. It made my daughter's hair soft and smooth. She had less tangles in the morning after using the shampoo regularly. The shampoo lathered well and the smell was long-lasting without being overwhelming. It was definitely easier to brush my daughter's hair after using the shampoo. My favorite part about this shampoo is that it left my daughter's fine hair soft and smooth without causing it to look or feel greasy.
