This was complicated to use and the outer blue elastic strap has a flimsy plastic closet that broke off and cannot be fixed. Allows the water in
When I first saw this product standing in line at the pharmacy I didn't have anything broken on my body but I said that seems like a pretty cool idea. No sooner than maybe a month a month and a half later I need it one I broke my wrist and I had what they call a soft gas on and it was not to be wet had to take a shower purchased it took my shower by the end of my shower which I felt like wasn't a long shower The bottom part with my hand and my fingers met was wet and I couldn't understand how it was collecting water in the bag we use the double seal but it seemed like something did not go right with it me personally I would not recommend to anyone You if you feel like you need to buy it You may have a different experience than I do I encourage you to but as for me and anybody else that goes on review this product is one star for 20 bucks to think that you could I would have been better off taping a trash bag to my arm with some duct tape that probably would have made it through anyway that is my review for this productReply from Customer Relations RepresentativeHace 7 mesesHi, we are sorry to hear about your experience with the CVS Health Adjustable Cast Cover. Absolutely fantastic water barrier
I have to keep my hand dry as I have broken my wrist and I have it cast on it. The nurse at the doctor's office suggested getting this sleeve. It's huge as it is, you can always put a 50 lb cocker spaniel in it, it does the job. I'm able to shower and not have to worry about dampening the cast which I have to wear for 6 weeks or more. Not Waterproof
Even following the instructions, there is a noticeable gap under the buckle where water can easily pass the secondary seal. The primary seal relies on a synch belt mechanism where the fabric scrunches to suit the circumference of your limb. No matter how tight you make it, it is not waterproof. Kept My Foot Dry
At the first use, I did not understand about the inner boot that must be tightened and sealed first. My broken foot got a little wet. At the second use, I was sure to seal the inner boot and then seal the outer boot. Voila! It worked. My foot stayed dry. What a relief to take a shower without worrying about getting my foot and bandages wet.0 users found this review helpful.
