NOT Waterproof
I recently had surgery and was required to keep everything dry for 12 days until my visit to have stitches removed. The doctor suggested a brand of sleeve, but I went to CVS and this was all that was available, supposedly for a leg or arm. Goes up to the shoulder on my arm. Has a two stage closure which can be manipulated with one hand, and seems pretty good. However the bag IS NOT waterproof, as my fingers were wet inside the bag. I don't know if getting soap on the bag caused it to leak, but there is no warning for that, and it is advertised as WaterPROOF, not water resistant. HORRIBLE !!
This was the second CVS wound protector I purchased. Both were horrible! The one with the rubber band type top leaked terribly. This one needs a rocket scientist to figure out..Had 3 people trying to make it work. Every one was returned. You make nothing that works! The horror of the instructions!
Instructions are on a very small 3.5"x4.5" piece of paper, listing 12 steps accompanied by 12 very grainy black and white photos. I've got good eyes but the print was so tiny and the photos so grainy, they did me virtually no good. Thankfully I found a YouTube video, figured it out that way, and was able to successfully apply it, taking a shower and keeping my leg dry! Thanks for that-it did its job, but seriously, you need to work out better directions. I returned this and bought the other one they had. Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't figure out exactly how I was supposed to wear this leg cover. Disappointing
The instructions are hard to follow. Trying to tighten it on broke the plastic clear holding piece. Then it was hard to figure out the final clicking to hold.
