Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this thermometer. The Kinsa QuickScan Non-Contact Thermometer is a very easy to use and accurate device for taking the temperature of my whole family. I found it very reliable for my family, and especially quick and easy to use for my 2 year old. I'm looking forward to its ease of use for my newborn on the way. I downloaded the Kinsa app, and it was very intuitive to navigate. My favorite part was that you can make a profile for each member of your family, and that it gave prevalence of viruses in your area and local trends to help you stay healthy. Accuracy and a great app!
After using this thermometer for a week straight while my daughter had the flu I can honestly say I found it to be very accurate and reliable. It takes temp in a literal second which is amazing plus since it's "non-contact" you can even check temps while little ones sleep- I found that very helpful. My favorite feature is the Kinsa app. I found the app so simple to use and extremely helpful in tracking temps, meds, symptoms & diagnosis. You can make a profile for everyone in the family and simply log all the info separately so it's organized and easy to understand. I love this because I always try to keep track on a post-it but usually misplace it and have a hard time keeping record. I also really enjoyed the local illness feature it allows you to see what the risk level is for a variety of illnesses in your area. Overall, I loved this thermometer and it will easily become one of my most reached for products at home. Easy and Reliable
I was given this thermometer to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I've dealt with an inaccurate under-the-tongue digital thermometer for years now and this season I'm relieved to now have a reliable and accurate option in my kids' medicine cabinet. This thermometer is quick, easy to use and seems quite accurate - even with no contact. The app is an added bonus and helpful to keep track of temps over time. You can even have a separate profile for each family member and track symptoms with each reading. Impressed by its accuracy and ease of use
I received this thermometer as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am very pleased with this thermometer so far. I have not had to use it in sickness yet, but I have tested it and compared to my old thermometer it is way more accurate. It is easy to use and takes temperature very fast with no contact, which is a blessing if you have squirmy little ones. It's also nice that you have to aim in the middle of the forehead instead of the temple/side because it's easier to pinpoint the exact location to aim. When I saw it had an app, my first thought was, why do I want to deal an app for a thermometer? But I downloaded it anyway just to see and honestly, it's really nice that it keeps a log of your temperatures. Quick and easy
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this thermometer. The Kinsa QuickScan Non-Contact Thermometer is seriously top notch! At first I wasn't sure if the app would be necessary, but it was so convenient! It keeps a log of every temperature you record and allows you to assign it to different members of your family, taking the guesswork out of having to remember each temp! The app was also simple to navigate. The thermometer was super easy to use and I got consistent readings each time. I loved that I could take my daughter's temperature without waking her up. Love this!
This is by far the best thermometer I have ever used! The Kinsa QuickScan is very easy to use and something every household needs especially if they have kids. The temperatures it takes are accurate. It's super easy as you just press the thermometer to the center of the forehead and press the button and in seconds you have the results. The best part is there is an app to pair it with. The app is also amazing! It keeps track of all of the readings and you input symptoms and it will give you some guidance. You can scroll back to see all of the readings and symptoms as well. There is a spot for you to give each family member their own profile, which helps keep everything organized. This comes in very handy when more than one person is sick at a time. This is very user-friendly I highly recommend it! Great Smart Thermometer!
I received the Kinsa Quick Scan thermometer from the Stellar Product Panel. It takes a few minutes to set up each kids profile in the app, but not too long. I LOVE that it can keep track of each child separately. I currently have 6 kids living at home, and when people are sick it is hard to remember what each person's temp was. This makes it easy! I used another thermometer I have to verify the Kinsa, and the temperature seems accurate. The Kinsa worked more frequently that the other brand of temporal thermometer I have. The old I only works about half the time. The Kinsa only did not read 1 time, out of over 20 uses. Functional and Innovative
Not only is this thermometer super easy to use, but it also has an amazing app to complement it. The app allows you to set individual profiles for each of your family members. This is pretty amazing because based on the individual's age, it can tell you next steps needed- such as when it's time to call the doctor. It can also keep track of past temperatures taken. When you have more than one sick person in the house, this makes it easy to keep everyone's needs met and status' up-to-date. You can also add medication reminders, symptoms and diagnosis information. The thermometer itself is a simple scan on the forehead. While it was tough to scan our toddler when he was awake (he was skeptical of the device), it was easy to grab a reading when he was sleeping.
