What Are Post-Workout Supplements?

Post-workout supplements are available in a variety of delivery methods, including drinks, powders, oils and capsules. All contain ingredients intended to help your body recover more effectively from strenuous exercise.  

Why Take Post-Workout Supplements for Recovery?

When you perform muscle-building exercises, such as push-ups or sit-ups, you're essentially creating many micro-tears in your muscles - which is a good thing. What Supplements Should I Take Post-Workout?

The best supplements for you depend heavily on the kind of exercise you're performing and the recovery benefits you're hoping to see. You'll also want to consider the delivery method; for example, pills and capsules are generally the easiest to transport and store, but oils and topicals can deliver the most localized body support.
