Hacerse la prueba

A sample is made up of nasal secretions collected on a swab. This is done by inserting the swab into your nostril approximately 1 inch into the nasal passage (midway) with the most visible drainage or the nostril that is most congested if drainage isn't present. At a CVS Pharmacy drive-thru, please note that you need to administer your own swab or bring someone that can do it for you. At MinuteClinic, a licensed provider will administer the swab for you.

  • Vehicle (if you’re being tested at the CVS Pharmacy drive-thru.)
  •  Health insurance card (if using your health insurance.)
  •  Confirmation code (from your confirmation text or email.)
  •  Your mobile phone (in case we need to reach you.)

MinuteClinic and CVS Pharmacy locations use rapid antigen COVID-19 & flu tests to check for active infection.

We understand that you may need to bring someone with you; however, only patients who have qualified and scheduled a visit online can be tested or assessed for treatment.

At CVS Pharmacy, patients must be 3 years of age or older for COVID-19 and flu testing. Patients must be 18 months or older at MinuteClinic. Patients 3-15 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. At a CVS Pharmacy drive-thru, an adult may need to assist with sample collection using the swab. At MinuteClinic, a licensed provider will administer the swab.

Tratamiento

  • Your likelihood of developing severe COVID-19 or flu complications

Pregnancy could limit prescription offerings.

You can ease your symptoms by:

  • Drinking lots of water, juice and warm soups to stay hydrated.
  • Getting plenty of rest to help your immune system fight infections.
  • Taking pain relief medications, like acetaminophen or ibuprofen, to soothe body aches.
