Apply to clean dry hair. Sectioning helps keep you organized and ensures an even application making for an overall better experience. The easiest way to start is by sectioning hair into 4 equal sections and applying section by section. The formula is foamy and bright so the foam will look like the color you are applying. Once ready apply to desired area then massage and lather in begin timing once you have fully saturated and massaged color into hair. What should I do if I feel the color is darker than I wanted?
That a quick fix! Simply wash with a clarifying shampoo to help remove some color and lighten the tone. The color will begin to fade with each additional shampoo - so keep shampooing.

Even if you do not see a reaction to the skin test, it is still possible to have a reaction when you dye your hair.
