They were quick and friendly.
I was a walk in and they saw me within an hour. I was expecting a much longer wait.
The nurses were very patient with any questions I had and were very informative on the process of tests done. Very friendly staff.
Really bad experience. Booked an appointment for 12:10 pm but not seen till 12:50 pm. Which is understandable but, the urgent care I usually go to, rarely makes me wait more than 15 minutes after my appointment. Initially the medical assistant was really nice and patient but after they had issues trying to make their POS system work she started getting a little frustrated at me. She asked me why I didn't bring an alternative form of payment, which is not my responsibility if their POS system was not working. She then told me I had to pay but it was already closer to 2 pm which is the time my nanny needs to leave so we arranged to come back later in the evening. I asked for a courtesy call to make sure I don't forget to come back in since I have too little kids and work to finish. She gave me attitude about why should she have to remind me. Nevertheless she called me twice. I did miss the first call but answered the second while I was preparing my kids dinner. She literally asked me to get their dinner after I go back and pay them why infuriated me. I went to pay and things went real sour real fast. She clearly had no sense of conflict resolution and voices remained elevated. Finally the nurse practitioner stepped in to charge me. This was the worst experience I've ever had an urgent care. Saving $40 to go to your minute clinic was not worth it. I would want to like to have my money back as this was no way to treat a client. I am reaching out to you before posting any reviews because I do know people can have bad days which she clearly was having one.
We had an appointment and still had to wait an hour. I spoke with The Provider at the clinic on 4/21 and was told there was a zero copay yet the nurse at the Minute Clinic charged us $17. The nurse was nice enough but very slow. She said she was understaffed and did not have a phlebotomist on weekends. The nurse told us we may have to go to Quest--after waiting an hour!--if she couldn't do the blood draw herself. The nurse spent too much time with us. At one point, the person she was seeing left to go shopping in the store and we all waited ten minutes for him to return. She could have done our blood draw and had us out of there. We did not have the time to waste. This was our first experience there and wish we would have been told to come later. When I booked the appointment with The Provider on 4/21, she told me we were the first appointment after lunch, to not come early because they would open the doors and we would be seen. Our appt was at 210 and we were seen at 305! It was ridiculously hard to schedule this appt. I tried several times online, then I called and was told I had to DRIVE IN to schedule the appt. This was a real hassle but we were desparate for the TB test so my teen daughter could volunteer this summer. The only person who was helpful was The Provider on 4/21. I didn't realize we could do a blood draw for the TB rather than two appts for the skin prick. That was a lifesaver piece of advice and I want to very much thank her as we could not have gotten my daughter there twice as it's finals week and her school is very far away.
Everyone was professional and helpful. I was able to receive the vaccines I needed in less than 30 minutes. I will come back again
Minute Clinic is a misnomer. Hours Clinic would be more accurate. Lots of redundancy. Multiple check in texts. Cryptic staff ((not all) I avoid this clinic. Recently I went to a clinic in Marina del Rey. Great people. Efficient staff. I was seen quickly. Why do all of the employees at CVS seem so unhappy?
The Provider had zero bedside manners. When asked if she could help us with acne medication for my son, she said to talk to his pediatrician because she can't handle the request. She told my son to get over it and that everybody has acne. He needs to learn to live with it. I discussed with her that our pediatrician retired so we are in the process of finding a new one. Regardless, It's very rude and inconsiderate to tell a 13 year to get over something that makes them uncomfortable. Then she told me that CVS minute clinic does not perform sports physicals so go somewhere else basically. She then replied the only reason she was even helping me at all with the inhaler request was because she believes in breathing. What was she implying? That I didn't care about my son?? I will never come to any CVS minute clinic again! The Provider was rude, judgmental, unprofessional and really seemed annoyed with my requests!! She made my son feel awful for even thinking about asking for help with his acne! You need to do better. It's a clinic there to help us not make us feel worse and make us feel like we were a burden to her. I understand that there are worse things then acne but to a kid sometimes that's the worse thing for them. Telling them to get over it is by far uncalled for!!
After a few days of not getting proper explanations to test results I was given, I decided to go to the minute clinic for an exam. The NP there was super empathetic to my situation and was able to give me a diagnosis right then and there and prescribe some medication until I saw my PCP.

I made an appointment for 2:30pm and was not seen until 3:45pm. I don't think this is the doctor's fault, as maybe too many appointments were made back to back. But clearly the physician, Providergian, was stressed because there was a long line of people waiting. She rushed me and wouldn't even let me finish talking because she wanted to make things more efficient and to speed things along. It was a little bit rude. She also told me to go to the emergency room for a skin allergy that I had, making me scared that I had something extremely serious, but the emergency room doctors told me that I was just having allergies and only needed Benadryl and a prescription to prednisone. If she had taken the time to listen to me instead of rushing me, maybe I could've saved myself a trip to the emergency room. What I had was NOT that serious, and she scared me into thinking it was. Overall, CVS needs to space out appointments more so that doctors like her do not act for the sake of efficiency, but rather for the sake of what the patients need.
