It was a great experience great doctor
The nurse I had, The Provider, NP, was by far one of the worst practitioners I've ever had. She a horrible listener, very rude, and vindictive based off the report she left about me. She was a horrible listener because, firstly, I wasn't complaining about the wait time. IF she was listening, I was ASKING why ALL MinuteClinic notoriously have LONG wait times. Is it a staffing issue? Do they overbook? Etc. I've been going to MinuteClinic for years since I lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and now San Diego and my appointments were ALWAYS a minimum 1/2 hour behind my appointment time. This is also notoriously complained about with the public on Reddit. So she could spare me giving me the third degree of hearing yet another patient complaining about the nurse always being late. I was simply trying to gather perspective from her at that point, since it's more of an epidemic among all MinuteClinic locations, especially since it's been on the news that so many locations have been closing down nationwide. Secondly, I was complaining to her about my non-productive cough, telling her that I didn't have a typical cough, but that there was something very wrong with my throat or The Provider's apple area making me cough intermittently, for the past several weeks. However, she just kept trying to point my cough issues as if had a traditional cough, when I didn't. I actually never even coughed once in front of her, because I didn't have a cough! She was obviously just trying to get me to feel as if I was sick, when I wasn't. I had a physical underlying issue, so of course I was upset and offended by her, therefore I thought it was a fair question, to ask how long she was a nurse practitioner (which was only 2 years), since I had the right to know. I didn't ask for her license and although legally she would have to provide that when asked, she likely would have been offended by this too. She was very rude because when I went about telling her about my cough issues, she was staring at me like like I was crazy, which I asked her why she was doing that, because it's rude to just blankly stare at someone, especially after asking her questions, like I'm stupid, an idiot, or crazy. This is something teenagers do, not adults, and especially not medical professionals. Therefore, she was unprofessional and I called her out on it. She was vindictive by painting me in the tone of a crazy person as mentioned above, but also how I complained about how I left the office. I never stormed out. I gracefully left after we agreed that being there was obviously a mistake, since I needed to see a specialist about my throat issues. Yet, I was offended that she didn't even bother to look at my throat at all. She couldn't have put a tongue depressor down, just at my primary care doctor did this morning, who ordered me an ultrasound referred me to a laryngologist. That's right, I had to see my PCP, just because this MinuteClinic couldn't do her job to evaluate me the same exact way he did. No special tools necessary. I was very offended and upset by this experience that I immediately made a formal complaint about her with MinuteClinic customer service, who said I would get a return call from local management in a few days. However, as of this writing, it's been a week now and I never got a callback about this.
Thanks for a speedy and professional service with short notice. My appointment was a relief to find the cause of my illness and get the appropriate medication.
Providerndice is excellent, kind, polite, and a great listener. She was very patient with me and my request to check my BP. She checked both arms and used a machine and an old school device that is pumped up by hand. She asked me about my plans after receiving the BP readings.
I booked a standard consultation as best as I could see on the website. On arrival my son was told that the wrong appointment was made and that he was not able to be seen. I'm not a medical expert, and I booked the best I could see. Being refused was a waste of my time, my son's time and very frustrating as we now have to seek alternative medical services.
The Provider showed extreme Micro Aggression not only to me but to my 5 year old daughter. I waited 15 mins past my appt time just to be humiliated in front of my child because CVS did not state that I would have to pay out of pocket for a TB Test.
Excellent service in pharmacy and dr amazing service she’s so kind and gentle
The Provider, NP was very kind, professional and knowledgeable. Providerfeld
I was seen right away at my appointment time, and the doctor (the Provider) was so kind and genuine. She asked what seemed to me like all the right questions and seemed like she truly cared about making sure I felt okay. She even asked if I wanted a doctor's note for work even though what I came in for wasn't necessarily "bad" enough for it. It was a fairly short and straight-to-the-point appointment and after, I barely had to wait any time for the pharmacy in the building to have my prescription ready. The Provider had said that it would probably take about 30 minutes, but I went to check only after about 10 minutes and it was ready! And the woman at the pharmacy register, Providera, was super kind too. Great experience!
