So I had made the appt. on 21st May for TB skin test for my son as he's voluteering for the local hospital. We got there on time and the NP administered the test and were told to come back in 72 hours for the reading. She even made the appt. to come back for the reading on Sunday at 12pm. We got there and the clinic was closed. There was no notification sent to let us know of the closure. All my info was collected at the time of appt. so what's the point if the info isn't put to good use. I am part of CVS Health as well and if this is the level of care the patients are receving, I am sorry. It's really pathetic.
The practitioner was not well prepared for my visit. She acted as if I was her first patient and it was 3:40pm. She didn't know where the form was located for me to sign. She couldn't find a measuring tape (even asked me if I knew where it was). She acted as if I was supposed to know my current weight and waist measurement. She did not know what my visit was for. She was inaccurate on subtracting my current weight from my prior weight. I had to correct her. Lastly, she did not look professional. Her nails and hair looked unclean. I have seen 2 other practitioners at this location and those visits were good. This visit was not a pleasant experience.
My appointment was for 2:40pm, I arrived early, as requested by CVS, only to have to wait for the CVS employee to return from lunch late. It was around 3pm before Providerla saw me. There was a USED needle sitting on the desk by the chair I was sitting in, messy office overall. I wasn't tested for the flu or covid?? I advised the doctor I had no allergies and I specifically stated I didn't want a nasal spray but was prescribed that. After two more days of feeling sick, I scheduled another visit at a different location and after jumping through all the hoops to schedule it online, the doctor called me and advised me the office was closing early and I had to find another location.
Very disappointing experience at CVS MinuteClinic. I went there for an ear wax issue, but after arriving, they informed me that they did not have the proper tools or equipment needed for the treatment. They also clearly stated that they could not provide any assurance that the treatment would work. Because of this, I decided not to proceed with the treatment, yet they still wanted to charge the full fee. It's frustrating that they charge the same or even more than a specialist while not being properly equipped to handle the issue.

Making an appointment was very smooth; However, I feel that if an elderly person does not know how to make an appointment via computer or phone, they are totally left out of this great experience and flexibility.
My visit was waste of time and money
I have not had any problems. All service is fully disclosed
I had an appointment for 10 AM. I was not seen for my vaccine until 10:50❗️ she was either Overbooked, or badly needs an assistant to do check-ins and screens.
