Very disappointed as I called the phone number on the web, had the girl walk me through what type of physical I needed to sign my 17 year old son up for to make an appointment online. My son's pediatrician urgently retired and my son is was due for his annual physical. When my son showed up for his physical @ CVS, with permission note to be seen without an adult, he was told that they couldn't do a physical, but could do a sports physical for $84. This is outrageous as he felt he didn't have a choice but to proceed and paid this amount. When I spoke to the provider on the phone, she stated that she doesn't have time to answer the phone, so she wasn't the person whom directed us on scheduling and the person we spoke to obviously didn't have the correct answers. This is terrible customer service. I take pride in suggesting to my pts, at the local hospital, to utilize your services instead of urgent care centers. Will not be doing this any longer. Will warn others to be cautious as well.
I saw The Provider on 5/30/26. The Provider took time to listen to my concerns. She was knowledgeable. She did a thorough assessment and developed a treatment plan. The wait time was very reasonable. I would highly recommend the CVS Minute Clinic in Avon.
