Fantastic service from start to finish. The nurse practitioner was very professional and personable.
The nurse practitioner was very helpful. The antibiotic that she recommended was effective; after 3 doses, I noticed a difference. The eye ointment made my eye itch, so I didn't use that after two applications. Please tell her thank you for me. The Provider. I used the St. Michael location, on our way out of town on Sat. 5/24/26.
I went in on Monday 5/11 for a head cold I couldn't shake from the previous week. The nurse took my temp and BP. Then, took my BP again, then checked my other arm and wrote stuff down before leaving the room. A min later she said the doctor could see me now and we went next door and the doctor told me first thing, 'I called EMS because your BP is dangerously high'. That scared me a bit and I asked if I could leave and have my wife take me to the Urgent Care? The doctor calmed a bit by saying I did t have to go but to just let them run their tests and ask me questions. EMS arrived and did another BP check, blood check and EKG and recommended I go to the hospital as my EKG seemed ok but my blood sugar was high too along with my BP. Despite being very nervous, they scared me but calmed me also. Turns out it was a good thing I went in for my head cold as who knows when this may have been caught - maybe never and it would've been too late. I should say it's been years since I went to a doctor. I've stayed away ever since my mom was diagnosed with cancer as everytime I brought her to an appointment there was never good news and she passed away too soon. I'm changing my viewpoint now as I think the nurse and doctor and EMS saved my life. At my doctor appt later that day, the doctor drew blood and put me on Losartan and Metformin. My blood sugar put me at Type 2 Diabetes so that's what he prescribed for that and my BP. For that I'm grateful. I need to go back for a recheck in another week but I've already made significant changes.
The check in system was a little confusing. More information on the website would help. Now I know that making an appointment at home is the best way. The website seems to indicate by walking in you don't need any appointment. Then once there I realized I needed to make an appointment at the computer at the waiting room.
Online appointment scheduling very easy, wait time was minimal, nurse was very personable and compassionate, as well as competent
I had been feeling ill for about 48 hours with a horrible sore throat, fever, headache and body aches with yellow discharge when blowing my nose. When I arrived the dr was just preparing room, called me in and was super unfriendly. I had to ask her serval times to speak up as my ears were super plugged. Went through my medications as required and blood pressure and oxygen level. She did a strep test and said it would take 6 mins. We didn't really say much during that time. Came back negative and she said she thought I had allergies due to the spring trees blooming and or snow mold. Suggested I take Claritin and could also use ThroatCoat tea. I totally understand it was too early for sinus infections however allergies rarely ever cause body aches or fever. Super disappointed in the service I got and had told my husband I didn't even want to pay for the visit. Waste of time. I did end up at urgent care 4 days later with a double ear infection and still very congested. I was perscribed antibiotics nasal rinse and Musinex. Hopefully I'm on the road to wellness!
This was the most seamless urgent care visit I've ever experienced. My son had an ear infection, and we were in and out the door with antibiotics in hand in less than 30 minutes. Everyone was super nice and helpful. We will definitely use this clinic again in the future. ¡Gracias!
Knowledgeable nurse and NP. Location was great.
Intake The Provider was amazing!! Very kind and very thorough. The PA on the other hand...terrible!! Extremely dismissive, did not make me feel heard at all and acted like I was wasting her time!!
