Nurse practitioner was patient and understanding with my husband's Covid vaccine. He has had seizures during procedures that involved needles.
I just didn't love waiting more than a half hour for my scheduled appointment with no human available to ensure me someone was actually behind one of the closed doors. Also my insurance was provided electronically in advance. It would have been nice to know prior to my arrival that the cost was to be nearly $100 out of pocket for a straight forward TB test because there was an issue using Medicare at the clinic, though not at the pharmacy
The sports physical was conducted on time and efficiently.
My overall experience was fine. My only complaint would be the wait. Which, I do understand, as each patient deserves the time and care they need. However, with that being the case, CVS Minute Clinic should space the appointment times. Now, I understand CVS has to make a profit, but seeing as CVS Health surpassed $400 Billion in revenue last year, I think they could afford to space out the appointments. I do find it disappointing that CVS tries to fit in as many patients in the smallest amount of time possible. So, while I appreciate that the Nurse Practitioner gave each patient the time they deserved, I was disappointed that I had to wait for over an hour. Arrived 10 minutes early to check in and make sure all forms were complete, and it was just over 50 minutes past my scheduled appointment that I was seen. This in no way is a fault of the Care Staff, this is a CVS problem.
The Provider was not only personable, but professional as well. She was thorough with my exam and listened to my explanation of symptoms. The cream she prescribed has already made a difference with my eczema. I would not hesitate to use the Minute Clinic again. Thanks to The Provider, I am hopeful my rash will be gone soon!
Easy to make an appointment. Extremely professional, helpful treatment!
