I wasted my time and gas. I had already done the things she suggested. I could've googled rather than drive over 20 minutes there.
I originally attempted to schedule an appt at the CVS at 11314 US-15 501 N in Chapel Hill. The appointment times available didn't fit my schedule but I was given the option of joining the waitlist. I proceeded with the waitlist option, completed the checkin through the app and headed to the clinic. When I arrived I was almost immediately addressed by the nurse practitioner that being on the waitlist meant that I would not be seen unless someone didn't show up for their appointment. She was not very courteous and came across as very demeaning and unprofessional, suggesting I don't wait but find another urgent care. I accessed the CVS app again and found another location that had an appt available that I scheduled and then drove 40 minutes to the Roxboro Rd location. If this is waitlist policy, it should be clearly stated in the app when joining the waitlist. I'm not as irritated at the policy as I am with the way I was spoken to when I arrived. The nurse practitioner at the Roxboro Rd location was very professional, courteous, and friendly. She quickly addressed my medical needs and ensured that all my questions were answered. Quite the pleasant experience at this location.
The NP was fast, knowledgeable and supportive. She prescribed for me exactly what I think I needed.
I was able to schedule and get an appointment within a very reasonable time period, the clinic is very organized and clean and the NP was very friendly and attentive to my needs.
The nurse practioner did an awesome job of addressing my medical concerns. She was very nice and patient with me.
We did not have an appointment but the nurse very kindly agreed to provide what we came for. She had to input our information into the data system because the kiosk in the waiting area was not working properly. The nurse was great despite the frustration of spending time on admin work that she really shouldn't have had to do.
My wife and I both needed a TB test. The nurse who gave us the test was both efficient and pleasant. The only glitch in our visit was the kiosk software we were supposed to fill out when we arrived - the software froze after my wife had entered her name. In the end, we knocked on the clinic door to speak to the nurse and everything went smoothly.
Providerbony was skilled, knowledgeable, and friendly, a top notch caring health worker professional.
1) It is in fact impossible to book an appointment online. The only appointments listed are with CVS Pharmacy, NOT Minute Clinic. 2) I made my second MMR vaccination appointment at the end of the first MMR appointment. i.e. in person. 2a) when I showed up at the Minute Clinic at the correct time, on April 22nd, I waited five minutes, then knocked on one of the doors not displaying "closed" and there was no answer. I walked over to the CVS Pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist who told me the Minute Clinic was closed. I had not received any kind of notification about this. On the contrary, I had received texts and emails to "complete your visit checklist" prior to arriving. 3) There is no phone number to speak to anyone actually in Minute Clinic location. When I did call the general number after I'd found the Minute Clinic on April 22nd closed, the person on the other end of the line said the location I was at was open. It was certainly not open and in fact, the electronic sign listing opening hours had all seven days of the week showing as closed. I have no way of knowing if the NP working there was sick, on holiday or something else. Overall, the entire experience was absolutely awful. Technology did not work and even the kiosk in the Minute Clinic didn't allow me to check in and I did not want to put the app on my cellphone. I will not be recommending anyone use Minute Clinic. It is not professional nor communicative.
