I went to the clinic for my scheduled appointment, which was at 10:20 a.m. There was another patient ahead of me. Despite arriving for my appointment, I was not seen until 11:20 a.m. I had to wait for a full hour before being called in. To my understanding, MinuteClinic is intended to provide prompt and efficient medical care rather than lengthy appointments. When I asked the practitioner how much longer it would be before I was seen, her response was, "I don't know." I then asked whether I should leave and reschedule, and again her response was, "I don't know." I found this lack of communication and guidance to be disappointing and unprofessional. To my understanding, MinuteClinic is designed to provide quick and efficient healthcare services rather than lengthy appointments. When I asked the practitioner when I would be seen, her response was, "I don't know." When I then asked whether I should leave, she again responded, "I don't know." I found this lack of communication and guidance to be very disappointing and unprofessional. After waiting for an hour and speaking with the practitioner, she brought the other patient out of the examination room and asked her to wait in the waiting area. She then took me in and explained that she had asked the patient to step out temporarily so that she could see me before having the patient return to the room afterward. I found this situation confusing and questioned whether this was an appropriate or reasonable way to manage patient appointments.There were also other patients waiting in the clinic who witnessed what happened and can confirm the sequence of events.

I made an appointment. I waited 1hr 15hrs for about a 5 minute screening. Why schedule appointments on the cvs app if the physician cant see everyone? I also arrived 15 minutes early, so I was waiting 1.5 hrs total, only about 10 minutes of that was intake and screening. Also intake was strange... I went in for a TB test for public school. It can be a test or screening. She told me I may or may be charged. Prices ranged up to $100 usd for test/screening. Then she asked me to fill out a health department form (which I've never done, I always bring in the school form). Started filling it out, then she told took the form a minute later saying I didnt need to. Whats the point of intake if they dont know if they can take my insurance/cost of appointment/understand proper forms to fill out? When I saw the physician, she was very professional. They were slammed, more appointments than usual, and they were helping a new practitioner (so I was told). She did a quick screening and I was on my way. Again, if they were slammed, why wasnt the CVS app updated to reflect this so I could come another time. This is the 3rd TB screening I've been to, first time I waited this long and this were so disjointed.
