Following previsit instructions, I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment. But the attending NP was probably overworked that day, and so my appointment did not begin until 40 minutes past my designated time. I certainly would have appreciated being told in advance to arrive later, instead of waiting a total of 50 minutes.
